Over these past four years there have been two new games titled “Call Of Duty”. One titled “Vanguard” and the other “Cold War”. Now Infinity ward and Activision have teamed up to make the new “Modern Warfare 2”. 

Modern Warfare 2 will have a lot of new features like updating the vehicle mechanics. Driving vehicles now need gasoline, you can get the gasoline from various gas stations in game, and now you can instantly blow up cars by just shooting the motor. They also updated the leveling up mechanics for weapons. You only have to level up one gun from a category like SMG. You only have to level up one SMG and it will level up all of them. 

As an example vehicles will each have different mechanics like trucks, it will be harder to blow up than dune buggies, they will also be adding a different story line around the American and Mexican border. You will fight side to side with the Mexican military to stop the cartel from entering the United States. They are also adding fan favorite characters back for example like Ghost.

Modern Warfare 2 is a shooter game the modes are Campaign, Spec Ops, and Multiplayer. This will also involve a Battle Royale where you can fight 120 people till there is only one team left. Modern Warfare 2 will be very different from modern warfare 1 in the movement you won’t be able to slide cancel, slide canceling is when a player runs slides then cancels it this makes your in game player run faster. Instead it will have dolphin diving, dolphin diving is when a player runs and holds the crouch button making it hard for people to kill you dolphin diving is not new but it is a returning feature from Black Ops 2. They had the old call of dutys so a lot of old players are very happy with the change.

Modern Warfare 2 is now available in beta on PC,PS4,PS5,Xbox 1, and Xbox series X. It’s currently in its beta so you can download it for free. You can also buy the full game if you want it to cost 70 dollars. You can play the beta up to September 26th.
