On March 4th, our varsity baseball team went up against Tustin. They started off the game strong and ready to play. Went into the first inning with good pitches and strikes. Our defense was solid, making key plays to prevent Tustin from scoring. By the second inning, ng Tustin was giving it all they got getting their first home run. But our coyotes didn’t give up, they kept up the good work. Playing the best defense, and the batters are trying to hit the ball out of the park. Getting cheered on by their teammates from the dugouts. Unfortunately, even though they gave it their all, they could not strike out Tustin, and Tustin scored another 5 home runs. Tustin pitchers were on point with their hits this game. As the game went on, Buena Park kept up the hard work, but Tustin’s offense was on point. Our pitchers tried their best to throw off the Tustin players but failed to stop them from making another home run. The energy in the dugout was tense, but the team kept cheering each other on. By the end of the game, the scoreboard showed a 7-0 loss for Buena Park. It was a tough pill to swallow, but the team remained united and focused on improving. They know that every game is a learning experience, and they’re determined to come back stronger in their next matchup. The Coyotes are ready to put in the work, refine their strategies, and give their all in the upcoming games at the Angel Stadium against Garden Grove.
