February 18, 2025 Boys Baseball went against Savanna High School. Journalism attended the JV boy’s game at 3:15. The bleachers began filling up with many families, going to support their loved ones. It seemed like there were many people there from Savanna High School supporting their boy’s baseball team. Not only did Savanna High School have lots of support but so did we. As the game began parents, siblings, and even friends shouted out to the boys. Buena Park High School began the play and had them warming up before the big game began. Both crowds were cheering for their boys. During the game, you could hear the coaches helping their boys telling them what to do, and shouting out the tips and tricks to get them to do good. That went for both teams. As the game played out Buena Park High School switched onto the field and began striking Savanna out with almost striking player 20 out with the third one. It was actually counted as an “Out”. Five minutes left of the game our boys tried their very hardest to catch up to Savanna, and they almost got there but it was an upsetting loss on our behalf. Our team did bring all their strength, faith, and power onto the baseball field, but Savanna took the win with 18 full home runs. Congratulations to Savanna High School for their win. It was a very good game. Buena Park High School was pleased to have them come to our school. To our boy’s baseball team, the next game will be better with our improvements and faith.
