The boys varsity team fought hard as they played a game against Valencia HS, Buena park is currently 5-16 and 0-2 in the Golden West league. This team continues to fight hard every game and work hard every practice. Buena Park wins the tip off #1 Zayarie Eastland makes a 2pt field goal. Buena Park is running a man’s defense, they play aggressively to get the rebound and #2 Emmanuel Charagu makes a 2-point field goal. Eastland is starting well and makes a 3-point field goal.
Eastland goes up for a layup and gets fouled and goals to the line, he makes both free throws, and the score is now 19-9 Valencia HS is winning. Both teams are going at it fighting hard Charagu hits a mid-range. Charagu is a top scorer for BP and is almost always scoring a third of their points.
Unfortunately, the boys didn’t get the win but #2 Emmanual Charagu had a great game. He ended the game with 30 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals. To keep fighting coyotes, they face Santa Ana in their next away game on Friday 1/17.
