The boys came off strong playing a man’s defense against Mission Viejo. A great defense from number 4 as he blocked the ball, grabbed the rebound, and kicked it out to his teammates. Liam goes up with the ball he gets fouled and makes one free throw. Number 3 on Buena Park drives the ball commits the step-back move and makes 2 points.
Number 3 scores another 2 points for Buena Park basketball, Mission Viejo goes down the court, and Liam, number 15, rips the ball from number 3 on their opponent. Liam goes down again and shoots a 3 right in front of number 5 and makes its. Liam once again gets back on defense and blocks number 24. Mission Viejo came down with the ball and number 4 in Buena Park packed the ball out of number 24 hands.
Buena Park is playing hard and doing all they can to stop Mission Viejo, even though they fought a good fight they lost 41-56 against Mission Viejo in a non-league game.
