Food fest is a way for clubs, sports teams, etc. at our school to make money. Most sports teams do it to have money for new jerseys or equipment. Others like clubs do it to have money for events and things they want to do. It’s a fun event where everyone can come together and enjoy different kinds of food. Each group sets up a booth and sells their specialty dishes. The event usually attracts a lot of students, teachers, and other staff members. It’s a great way to raise funds while also building a sense of community. People love trying out new foods and supporting their favorite teams or clubs. The money raised helps improve our school activities and provides better resources for everyone. Plus, it’s a chance for students to showcase their cooking skills and creativity. Overall, food fest is the event that everyone looks forward to.
This Friday BP hosted its 2nd food fest of the semester. Clubs like Latino Club sold chips and soda. Their advisor Miss Delon says, “The kids seem to think our food is ten because we earned a good amount of money from the food fest.” Other clubs like our freshman and seniors classes sold food like churros and Buldak ramen. Senior Ricardo Rodriguez who helped with the senior stand says, “Our ramen was a hit at food fest we sold out pretty early on.” The success of these food fests shows how much the school enjoys and supports these fundraising efforts.
