On November 5, 2024, many high school students had the opportunity to go visit Cypress College and also Fullerton College. Both are amazing community colleges that have helped many students when it comes to education and sports. Buena Park High School had the chance to participate in this month’s college visit. Students were able to walk around and do many activities with friends. Other schools had the chance to be together and socialize with each other. Teachers and students from Cypress College are all kind and can help you understand what college is like. They convince you to come to college and pursue a career. They are passionate about High Schoolers coming to the school and making it a better school. At the beginning, they handed us bags and papers talking about the school. They took us to the gym and made students participate in activities with college students. They did sports activities and also gave free stuffed animals and merchandise from Cypress College. Many Students left good reviews on Cypress College and considered going to college.

(Manny): What grade are you in?
(Victoria): I’m a senior
(Manny): How was your experience at Cypress College?
(Victoria): It was really good, the facility was really nice and the staff there and other students are very welcoming.
(Manny): Do you see yourself going to Cypress College?
(Victoria): YES!!
(Manny): What was your favorite part of going to the visit?
(Victoria): My Favorite part was getting to see all the different programs there is and classes you could take.
Connect2Cypress is a good way to get along with staff and students from Cypress College. In order to get a free burger from Habit we had to get 6 stamps. We had to get through 6 different stations talking about how we feel, what we wanna be when we’re older, and also supporting stations like programs. Many students were looking forward to getting the free burger and learning about Cypress’s programs
On November 19th, 2024 students also had the opportunity to go to Fullerton Community College. Students were also excited for this day because many were looking forward to going to Fullerton College. Fullerton College also is very kind and helps you with your education a lot. The whole day there were stations and we were able to get free pizza for lunch. Many students enjoyed their day and saw their theater and instruments play. Fullerton College Teachers and Staff are also looking forward to you getting an education from Fullerton College. Buena Park High School had the opportunity to also come and visit Fullerton College. They have a lot of programs and also help you when you’re in high school by offering classes that you could take so you could get college credits.
Both Cypress and Fullerton Community College are looking forward to you applying to their school!!!! You are always welcome to be there and get your education. They also have many programs and sports so you could participate.
