My name is Carlos Cardenas, and I am a junior at BPHS. I really enjoy school because of the many opportunities available to me. I am particularly interested in agriculture and participate in many FFA-related activities. I am also the vice president of a club called Film Society.
I haven’t faced any major challenges at school, as I am quite busy and always have something to do. I appreciate being able to see my friends all the time and the fact that my school is very involved and keeps up with the latest trends.
I believe that my future holds a lot of potential. I see myself being happy and successful while being surrounded by family and friends. I consider myself an honest and helpful student who is always willing to participate. I prioritize school and try to stay on task as much as possible.
I spend most of my time with the same group of friends, and we have a lot of laughs together. It’s hard to choose just one story, but if I had to, I would go with the time when my friend Leo unknowingly sat on his uncrustable sandwich while we were filming our podcast called “Metal Maniacs.” The peanut butter smeared all over his pants, and Leo didn’t notice until the sandwich fell off the seat after about 5 minutes. Everyone had a great laugh, and our reaction was priceless. I’m glad we can always look back at that clip and laugh.
My greatest accomplishment so far is making $1000 from my farm animal in agriculture. I also received a check for being an intern, and I can potentially earn up to $4000-$5000 by the time I graduate, which I’m really proud of. It took a lot of time and effort, but everything I have worked hard for is paying off.
