On Tuesday the 9th, our Buena Park boys basketball had an outstanding effort against Sonora. This game we had a lot of scoring with great effort from our coyotes. The coyotes opened up the game trading blows with Sonora putting up points on the board. With Sonora just slightly pulling in front. The game continued on with 18 points scored by Jayden Barnes. Jayden Hayden also had some incredible blocks. Keeping Sonora from scoring points.
Unfortunately, our boys Basketball weren’t able to catch up with Sonora. They slowly started to get tired and eventually let Sonora have the win. Jaxson Valbuena sadly got injured by one of Sonora players, they accidentally sat on his leg during the game. Unfortunately making him not able to play during the fourth quarter. The end of the day, Sonora took the win. Final score being 38 to 63.
