Varsity Boys Water Polo vs. Fullerton
On Tuesday, the varsity boys’ water polo team faced off against Fullerton in an intense and highly competitive match. Our boys team displayed great determination and executed their strategies flawlessly. Both offensive and defensive plays were executed with precision, resulting in a final score of 14-11 in favor of our team. Leading the Coyotes with 5 goals is Sophomore Jose Cervantes, coming up next is Senior Elijah Trinidad with a total of 4 goals, followed by Seniors Juan Carlos Mendoza and Michael Rousselo-Beltran both each with 2 goals and one goal by junior Yony Bautista. Our goalie Senior Isaac Roque, putting on an excellent defensive mindset had a total of 10 blocks throughout the game.

On October 19, the varsity boys water polo entered their first Feague Carousel game against Sonora. Following their victory over Fullerton , the team’s confidence was high as they faced Sonora on Thursday. Blowing them out of the water, the varsity boys’ water polo team demonstrated remarkable resilience and teamwork, ultimately emerging victorious with a final score of 19-2.Scoring for the Coyotes were Senior Michael Rousselo-Beltran 4 goals, Junior Yony Bautista 3 goals, Sophomore Jose Cervantes 3 goals, Sophomore Jonathan Hsu 3 goals, Freshman Linus Cruz 3 goals, Sophomore Phillip Mclean 1 goal, Sophomore Micah Moreno 1 goal and Sophomore Liam Gallego 1 goal.
