Friday October 6, 2023 Buena Park faced off against Sonora High School at home. This game
was a hard one for Buena Park as Sonora struck out to an early lead in the first half and never
let up, winning the game 42-13. Despite such a tough loss there were some bright spots in the
Buena park offense as they were able to score two touchdown passes at the end of the game

while they weren’t able to score in the beginning. There were also a couple explosive plays from
Danny Washington including a hurdle and nice runs and from Anthony Irons with some nice
tackles and some nice runs. Buena Park is now 0-2 in league and are looking to have a bounce
back next week where they will be playing Troy high school away.
