Look To 2024!

Look+To+2024%21

Once we come back from winter break, we will have many events to look forward to. There will be more Food Fests, sports games, assemblies, and wonderful shows performed in the Pac. The 8th graders from middle schools will be preparing for the change of schools, and our Juniors & Seniors will soon go shopping for their dresses and suits, and our class of 2024 class will be donning their graduation caps & gowns and taking their final steps of their High School career. With a new year comes new opportunities, so we decided for the final article of the semester, we will look at some student’s & staff’s expectations for the next year.

Our school could not run without our amazing staff. We asked the Staff from BPHS what they’re looking forward to in 2024, Here is what they had to say:

“I am looking forward to steady growth and continued excellence in all athletic-related activities.” – Coach

“I’m looking forward to a lot in 2024. The things I am most excited about are our Winter musical Beauty and the Beast and the Explorica trip I’ll be doing with teachers and students to Japan this summer!” – Mr. Galindo

“A healthy and prosperous new year for ALL at BPHS and personally I am looking forward to my older daughter’s wedding in July of 2024.  Very excited about the event.” -Mr. Dean

Just because the Holidays will be over, doesn’t mean we don’t have anything to look forward to. In January alone, we have a Winter Assembly (January 12th), Club Refresh (January 19th), Blood Drive, and Open House (Both on January 25th). This only includes some of our sports games and everything our wonderful ASB does for us every day! But there are not just things at school to look forward to!

  • April 8th

A Solar Eclipse will be visible from Mexico, The United States, and Canada.

  • September 5th

PST Art: Art & Science Collide will be healed in Southern California by the J. Paul Getty Museum.

  • November

Nasa will be sending Artemis II, on a 10-day trip to the moon. Including Nasa’s first Black Man and First Woman to make this trip!

You may hear some depressing news about the future—things to do with the economy, war & conflict, and tragedy. It is important to look at these things to see how to deal with them, but it’s also important we look at the future through an optimistic lens. We have more and more things to look forward to every day! Happy New Year Coyotes!
