At Buena Park High School, We always welcome colleges and Universities to come and talk to our students. They talk about many topics about college and how it could help you with your career that you want to pursue. Many students attend the meetings and look forward to having more. At BPHS, Students find it very helpful for colleges and Universities to come to our campus and look forward to their future school. Oregon State University ( OSU ) was very understandable and helped our students understand how it is in OSU. They handed out books and applications so you could see the different types of careers you take.
OSU BACKGROUND
To begin, the OSU campus is located in one of the safest, smartest, greenest cities in the U.S. There are more than 26,000 students on the 520-acre campus. Also, OSU’s sports are NCAA Division 1, plus more than 50 intramural leagues, 40 club sports, and more than 400 student clubs including international programs in more than 70 countries. Throughout the campus there are also seven cultural resource centers and provide support services for on-campus and online students.
Oregon State Faculty and students earned a record $480 million in research awards in 2023 to address global issues like climate change, Health, food supply, renewable energy and advanced technology. Even as an undergraduate, you can make real contributions to faculty research. You could also have your own project and help your school with research projects. OSU is known for its innovative research, friendly atmosphere, entertainment and education. Many Companies like NIKE, Intel, and Health Services go recruit at OSU soon to be graduates.
